About The Course

Microsoft does not offer a single, dedicated "CRM course for MS SharePoint." Instead, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functionality is primarily handled by the separate platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (specifically the Customer Engagement apps), which can be integrated with SharePoint. SharePoint itself is a collaboration and document management platform, though it can be used to build a basic, custom CRM system.

The platforms complement each other and are often integrated. Dynamics 365 manages the structured customer data and business processes, while SharePoint is used for storing and managing related documents, leveraging its Power-BIrful document control features. For example, a sales opportunity in Dynamics 365 could have all associated documents (proposals, contracts, etc.) stored in a linked SharePoint document library.
